The Development of Gears

The transmission of gears was already evident over three hundred years before Christ. The ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle had already elaborated on this issue. Yet, through hundreds of years of development, Hebei gears have become a remarkable product of innovation. When gears operate normally, they have a significant impact on the precision of torque. This is mainly due to the primary components made of cast iron.

A feeler gauge should be used for inspection, and any deviation should be within the allowable range. During the engagement of the gear movement, there should be no abnormal sounds such as grinding.
After assembling the gears, manually rotate the gear one full turn; it should be neither too loose nor too tight. It is important that it can turn more than one full rotation without getting stuck. This is because, during the production process, there is a certain deviation in the runout of the gear rim, resulting in variations in tightness during a full rotation. Adjustments should be made on the tighter side. However, before assembly, it is necessary to check if the gear teeth have been damaged; if so, they must be cleaned thoroughly. If the gears are not assembled properly, there may be jamming, and during operation, the temperature will rise due to high-speed rotation, which may lead to vibrations, so caution is essential.
